Privacy Policy for cloud.ifds.app

cloud.ifds.app is the IFDS Cloud Sync Broker. It provides read-only synchronization from selected cloud folders to IFDS clients.

Data processed

When a user connects a cloud provider, the broker stores the authorization token required to read the selected folder, basic account information returned by the provider, the selected folder identifier and synchronization metadata.

Purpose

The data is used only to list, cache and serve files from the selected cloud folder to authorized IFDS clients. The broker does not write changes back to Google Drive, Dropbox or Nextcloud.

Sharing

Data is not sold or shared with third parties. Files and metadata are only made available to IFDS clients that have a configured device API key.

Retention and removal

Cloud tokens, assignments and cached files are retained as long as the connection is configured. Removing the cloud connection or deleting the broker source removes the need for further access.
